We believe that with the right lawyer for their case, a litigant has a better chance of obtaining justice effectively.
The mission of JuriGo.ca is to connect individuals and businesses -simply and quickly- with a lawyer who can answer their needs based on their criteria.
Our team is guided by three core values: innovation, justice, and customer service.
We are passionate about solving access to justice issues and believe that innovation is the key to achieving this.
We understand that searching for the right lawyer for one's case is stressful and anxiety-inducing, especially in emergency situations. Therefore, we commit to providing a simple, fast, and intelligent service for all our users.
JuriGo.ca was founded in 2019 by a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, programmers, and web marketing experts.
Since then, our team has been actively working to modernize the legal sector in Canada and to solve certain issues of access to justice.
In a short time, JuriGo.ca has established itself as an indispensable tool for anyone looking for a lawyer. Its platform is referred daily by the Barreau du Québec, several courts, and other public and governmental organizations.
Last year, we helped over 50,000 individuals and businesses find the right lawyer for them, free of charge.
We are aiming for a pace of 100 000 lawyer-client connections per year by 2025.
Philippe is an attorney passionate about the business world. He was sworn in in 2014 and practiced corporate law at a renowned firm in Quebec for over six years, until the birth of JuriGo.
His legal practice led him to interact daily with entrepreneurs and high-quality business leaders, thus nourishing his entrepreneurial spirit.
However, it was in 2017, while he was waiting in a queue at the pharmacy, that he had a simple but visionary idea: to modernize and facilitate access to a legal professional through new technologies.
That same evening, he contacted his childhood friend, Charles-Antoine Giroux, to convince him of the relevance and viability of this project. The next day, he shared the same vision with his colleague and friend, Pierre-David Girard.
In 2020, after many hours of volunteer work, JuriGo was officially launched.
On a daily basis, Philippe works closely with the entire team to make JuriGo an essential technological tool for access to justice, all over Canada.
Charles-Antoine, an unwavering enthusiast of new technologies, has accumulated more than 11 years of expertise in the sector. Before co-founding JuriGo alongside Philippe and Pierre-David, he worked at CSIO in collaboration with insurance pillars such as Intact and Aviva Canada. Over the years, he climbed the ranks within this company, moving from the role of analyst to that of solutions architect, and finally leading the technology team.
Charles-Antoine has always been driven by the ambition to create his own company. The opportunity finally presented itself during a call from Philippe, a longtime friend, in 2017. Philippe shared with him the visionary idea of JuriGo. On a cold winter evening that same year, the first lines of code were written. For the following two years, the trio – Philippe, Pierre-David, and Charles-Antoine – devoted their evenings and weekends to the development of the project. In June 2020, he embarked full-time on the JuriGo adventure.
Today, Charles-Antoine is dedicated to the constant optimization of the team and the technological tools of JuriGo. With a strong interest in recent advancements, he places a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, allowing JuriGo to maintain a "lean," agile, and high-performing team. The pursuit of performance is, for him, a true passion.
After completing a certificate in business administration, Pierre-David continued his studies in law and obtained his Bachelor's degree in 2014 and his Bar admission in 2015. During his studies and to begin his practice, he worked in a significant business law firm in Quebec. He then chose to join the insurance law group of a well-established firm in Quebec City.
Pierre-David is distinguished by his client approach, proactivity, and ability to quickly grasp the major and complex issues of cases in order to find a solution to a problem. He has always had a well-developed entrepreneurial spirit, which led him to the development of the JuriGo project with his partners at the end of 2017.
Today he is fully dedicated to this company that he co-founded. Pierre-David loves to feel that he is making a difference in helping JuriGo users find a lawyer for their needs and in assisting young lawyers starting out or law firms in full growth to develop their business in the most optimal way possible.
Alex graduated from Laval University in 2018. During his studies, he had the opportunity to spend a semester at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montpellier, in France. After being admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2019, Alex practiced insurance law and civil liability for over 4 years at a well-known law firm in Quebec.
It was during these years that he had the chance to work alongside Philippe and Pierre-David, two colleagues with whom he quickly became friends and to whom he turned when he was freshly out of law school. This is how Alex witnessed the birth of JuriGo and its very beginning.
Having quickly recognized the challenges and difficulties related to access to justice, Alex always knew that he wanted to contribute to the growth of JuriGo, a project in which he believed a great deal and which interested him a lot. This ultimately led him to commit full-time to the JuriGo adventure, with the mission of developing the platform in Ontario and on a national scale.
